Supporting Malawi’s most vulnerable communities with education, food, medical care, and dignity.
Restoring Dignity, Building Community
We Care was founded in 2021 with a simple belief: every person deserves to live with dignity, regardless of their circumstances.
We work in Lilongwe, Kasungu, Mchinji, Thyolo, and Phalombe, supporting children, elderly, widows, and persons with disabilities through education, healthcare, food security, and advocacy programs.
Our approach is community-led and sustainable. We grow our own food, involve local leaders, and empower beneficiaries to become self-sufficient.

Ndaziona Maupo
15 years old - Mchinji
Ndaziona lost her father and was left with her mentally ill mother and 4 siblings with no financial help. We Care provided food, clothes, and school exercise books for her to return to school. She had dropped out in Standard 5 but is now back on track with her education.
- I'm grateful to be back in school.
Flora Phiri
52 years old - Lilongwe
Flora lost her husband and was left with 5 children and 2 nephews. Her house was burnt by neighbors who were after her land a month after her husband's burial. She also suffered a broken arm. We Care provided food, clothes, medical care, education, and shelter. She is now able to support her family and others.
- I am now able to support my family and others.
Moses James
75 years old - Lilongwe
Moses is an elderly man who needs food, clothes, mobility and sight equipment, and medical care. We Care provided a bag of fertilizer for his farm to provide food for himself and his family. He has leg and eye problems but is now able to grow food for his family.
- I can now provide food for my family.
47 Acres of Hope in Mchinji
Our productive farm in Mchinji grows maize, sweet potatoes, cassava, pigeon peas, beans, pumpkins, and popcorn. This agricultural program is central to our vision of sustainable, community-led care.
Rather than depending entirely on external donations for food, we grow it ourselves and share harvests with our beneficiaries. This ensures food security and teaches valuable farming skills to community members.
