Thinking Healthy Training for Malawi Peer Supporters

The project is being supported by Paediatric Adolescent Treatment Africa (PATA) and is being implemented in 4 clinics in Malawi namely Rainbow Clinic in Mzuzu, Zalewa Clinic in Neno, Tisungane Clinic in Zomba and Neno District Hospital. The training brought together 12 Peer Supporters and 4 Nurses and counsellors from the clinics. All Peer Supporters have been well trained and equiped in providing psychosocial support to young mothers that are on ART Treatment.

Using PATA ABCD mobile application, Peer Supporters are expected to provide a comprehensive support and connecting young mothers to clinic health support that young mom's and pregnant women need.

PATADuring the training, all participants were given training certificates and mobile phones. We thank PATA for their support.
